Whitney Houston died Saturday. She was 48. The cause of death has not yet been made public. Paramedics were called to the hotel In Beverly Hills where Whitney was staying during Grammy festivities in the afternoon, and found her unresponsive in her room.. Paramedics' attempts at CPR failed and she was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. PST. There were no signs of foul play. Whitney had been planning to attend Clive Davis' annual pre-Grammy Awards party. (It was Clive who discovered and signed her to Arista Records in the early 80's). Such a gifted performer. Such a troubled lady. I hope she's finally at peace.
